A. I bought this ebook a while ago and I was able to choose the right diet for me and it worked brilliantly. It's also really cheap for the great investment it is.

What is the least amount of fat you can eat in a healthy diet?
Q. I know your body needs some fats, but a lower fat diet is certainly healthiest. What is a low fat diet? I mean, going completely fat free is unhealthy, but eating 65 grams of fat (recommended for a 2,000 calorie diet) is not necessary. Can I be healthy just getting the fats from healthy foods like breads and oatmeal? Sorry for all of the questions- I could just brainstorm on this topic.

A. Too often, this question is inaccurately answered. Weight loss guru's tend to tout what they see as problems with fat intake, and many people who think they are cardiologists speak up with false information. There is a lot more to proper nutrition than total calories or someone's errorenous ideas about "max fat grams." For example, you have to consume fat with carbohydrates in order to metabolize the carbs. Fat in the diet is necessary for absorption of fat soluable vitamins. There are many facts to consider. Here is a question presented to a nutritionist on this topic: question: I eat a balanced diet except I concentrate on the fat content. If it's available in non-fat such as milk or cheese, that's what I buy and eat. My fat… [cont.]

You need to feed them feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium daily drop 20 or so in the tanks and watch them disappear in a few days! When I got these two 36 yrs ago all we had in back then were goldfish to feed , so after 36 yrs and still going strong. They can eat goldfish! This way when they swim for their dinner they get exercise also! I also feed dried cubed blood worms or tubiflex worms at least 5 times a week. Have you got a healthy diet schedule for me?
Q. Ok, so if you have read my last 2 questions you will know i am trying to make it into a Professional wrestling career so have you got a diet that's healthy. Its mainly focused on building muscle, energy, good health and losing fat. So any schedules or advice would be greatly appreciated.

A. The first thing my son did when he got into wrestling was to get tons of grapefruit and every morning he drank a couple of cups of coffee and ate 1/2 grapefruit(eat a whole if they are small)with it. The caffeine is actually a fat burner and some acid in the grapefruit allows that caffeeine to burn more fat longer. In addition, my son ate a lot of salad and a lot of protein--for snacks it was fruits instead of cookies and goodies, and I have to say that it worked so well for him that I recently started a grapefruit regimen myself and it really works. This is what I do: 1 24oz cup of fat free or low fat yogurt 1-2 cups of coffee and 1/2 to 1 grapefruit in the morning--plenty of water in between. lunch: I only eat European Rye bread from… [cont.]

How can a meat eater maintain a healthy and balanced diet?
Q. I just don't get it, it seems ridiculous to me, I can absolutely say with 100% conviction I've never met a meat eater in my life who was able to maintain a healthy diet and receive the fair majority of required nutrients day to day. Did you manage before you went vegetarian/vegan? If you're a meat eater how do you manage? THANKS! I met everyday people, not people who had intelligence and knew what they were doing.

A. I think they take pills, and consume chemically fortified food products like breakfast cereals, milk based "health drinks," and yogurt.

What is an effective but healthy diet for a busy teenager?
Q. I'm 17 years old, 5 foot 4 inches tall, and 175 pounds. I'm really busy with school and extracurricular activities, but I think that it's time to make my health a priority. I understand that fitness/healthy living is a life style, and I'm not asking for a quick fix either. I just want to know: what is a good diet for me?

A. I think the best weight solution (especially for someone as busy as you!) is this; substitution. Before you reach for a bag of chips or hamburger try a Yoplait Yogurt instead. they are portable and delicious. Try granola, water or natural juice instead of soda, sandwiches instead of pizza. Excersice is great also if ytou have the time. Just whenever you eat something ask yourslef could I be eating something better? Also eat breakfast, it speeds the metabolism! Good luck and be patient!

What is a good and healthy diet for a ballet dancer?
Q. Say you have a 105 lb ballet dancer. 5 foot 3 She exercises 8 hours a week in ballet classes and then 4 hours or so in aerobics classes. How many calories approximately should she be taking in daily? What is a good diet for her in order to keep at a healthy weight?

A. depending on age, i would not worry too much about calorie intake. if there is a low calorie option, you can have it, but quantity is really the issue. don't think drinking a diet soda will help. if you want a soda, just drink the real thing because there isn't much of a difference (unless you're diabetic). you shouldn't really have more than one soda a day (about 6-7 teaspoons of sugar in a 12 oz can). drink a lot of water instead. most normal people don't drink enough water each day, and most dancers i know don't either (and they need far more than normal people). you should eat a fairly balanced diet (eat from all your food groups, lots of veggies, fruit, and dairy). women naturally have issues with retaining calcium and with bone… [cont.]

For example for breakfast instead of eating eggs and bacon stick with cereal. Instead of a cookie for a snack try a banana For lunch maybe try low fat food Dinner take it seriulsy. Dont eat past 9pm. Eat a light, healthy dinner Drink a lot of water throughout the day. Hope i Helped!

A. This is a complex topic. Please read "Eat More, Weigh Less" by Dr. Dean Ornish. Go to the library and borrow the book. My personal choice is to avoid junk food and eat raw whole foods as much as possible. That means leafy green vegetables, other vegetables, fruits, sprouted beans, brown rice, and whole grains. Eat some vegetarian sources of oil (these are required), but don't over do it. You do not need to eat dairy or meat for a healthy diet if you eat a balanced vegetarian diet. A. Normally diets are just to maintain your already-developed body. When you are pregnant, you are growing an entire body - brain, bones, heart, blood, liver and kidneys, muscles, etc - all from scratch, from one cell. Each of these body parts need certain vitamins and minerals, as well as basic nutrients. Bones are calcium; the redi in blood is iron; also, the majority of spinal development problems (i.s. spina bifida) are preventable with appropriate doses of folic acid. Proteins, fats and carbs are the basic building blocks the body uses to grow. All these nutrient have their uses. Shortages could lead to stunted or underdeveloped children. Q. I'm 13 years old and I don't do any exercise. I'm not fat, I'm just average. But I don't think I'm really that healthy so I want to know a healthy diet and exercise routine. I'm not really aiming to lose weight. I only take a walk around the neighborhood for 30~45 minutes. I just eat anything that I like. I'm not very obsessed with my weight I'm just trying to be healthy people!!!

A. Use exercises that use you own body weight (like push-up, pull ups, dips n such). If your going for a nice stomach, I've found combining leg lifts as you do a crunch is quite effective. As far as diet, stay away from high sugar intake. People become addicted to sugar and it starts in the early teens. Drink mostly water. Eat a healthy balance, and maybe talk to your parents about taking a multi-vitamin too. Cardio is important and when the motivation hits you go jogging. Start with 15mins and increase the time at your pace.

A. To improve your circulation aerobic excessive and physical activity is an excellent way to get that blood flowing. Another great way to improve circulation is spending some time in a Sauna. The heat from a Sauna surrounds the body and penetrates deeply into the joints, muscles and tissues, speeding oxygen flow and increasing circulation. Also, try visiting a massage therapist from time to time to get those muscles relaxed and promote better circulation.
